WHAT’S THE EXACT VENEERS PROCESS?

The process of getting veneer placement generally happens over two visits. At the first visit, Dr. Kalasho will begin the tooth prep. This preparation entails gentle removal of some enamel. The dentist will take impressions in order to create a model of your teeth. Temporary veneers are placed on your teeth while the permanent ones are being made

During the second visit, the temporary veneers are removed, and the permanent ones are bonded to your teeth.

DOES THE PLACEMENT HURT?

Veneer placement is painless. With a local anesthetic applied at the treatment area, any potential pain that would be felt is numbed away.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?

One of the great benefits of veneers is that there’s very little to no downtime after treatment. Patients can resume their normal activities after the appointment. There’s no added maintenance with your veneers.

Our dental office still recommends you practice good oral hygiene daily. It’s essential to continue to brush and floss twice a day, along with keeping your dental checkups and cleanings yearly.
